Matt Jarvinen After growing up in Northern California, Matt moved down to San Diego and studied Psychology and Philosophy/Theology at Point Loma Nazarene University. After graduating from Point Loma in 2007, he went straight to San Diego State University. During his time there, he specialized in the developmental field and worked for two years conducting research at Rady Children’s Hospital. After receiving a Masters in Psychology from SDSU in 2009, he joined the CASE team as a Behavior Interventionist.
Matt did not initially expect to be working with children on the spectrum, but has loved his experience with CASE. He enjoys the diversity of the children he gets to work and appreciates the beautiful, unique ways that they interact with others and the world.
Matt enjoys pretty much everything, but when he is not at CASE, he especially enjoys spending time with his wife, golfing with his friends, and relaxing at home. He is also currently continuing his studies back at Point Loma in Theology. After working with CASE, Matt plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
