Lauren Reynolds, a San Diego native, received her B.A. Therapeutic and Community Psychology in and her M.A. in Human Behavior.
During the summer of 2000, while studying journalism and starting her career as a copy editor, Lauren was introduced to a young woman with the label of Autism Spectrum Disorder. After spending many hours with this young woman, a profound and life changing friendship developed, prompting her to redirect her studies to psychology.
During the remainder of her college years and following graduation, Lauren worked with various Regional Center vendors as an independent living supporter, ABA Interventionist, and Behavior Consultant. She joined C.A.S.E. Inc. in 2005 as a Behavioral Consultant and Friends’ Club Facilitator. She now serves C.A.S.E. as the Executive Director, specializing in Program Development and Implementation.
When Lauren is not working in Carlsbad, San Bernardino and Napa, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, eating out, reading, sewing, painting, photography, shopping at Target and getting deported from British Columbia. Her passion is to see individuals on the Autism Spectrum empowered by their abilities to self-advocate, so they may succeed socially and academically in a world where the road to victory is a constant experiment.
