Michelle Purner

Michelle Purner graduated from the University of San Diego, USD, with a degree in Psychology. While an undergraduate student at USD, Michelle was involved in multiple community services projects. At the end of her junior year, she co-founded Cool Club, an organization that brought USD students together with students from the community who were part of T.R.A.C.E. Mesa’s special education class. They took field trips, started a Special Olympics basketball team, and held class dances. The goal for Cool Club was to provide an opportunity for both sets of students to grow and learn from one another, bridging the gap between the two communities. During Michelle’s time participating in Cool Club, she met people who were on the Autism Spectrum and knew that she wanted to continue working with individuals on the Spectrum. After she graduated, she came to work for CASE Inc. as an interventionist. She finds such fulfillment in her work and loves getting to know all of the kids. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family and travel. Michelle's organization, high energy and creativity have been an asset to intervention.
